Hi and hello! It's been a hot minute since we had anything like this, so I drafted up a handy little easy-to-fill-out doohickey... But what is it, you might ask? A mish-mash of a general knowledge meme (for handy quick CR-making, handwave-style so you can get past all the boring introduction bits) and a first impressions meme (because who doesn't want to know what a first impression brings)! Have fun, don't stress, and welcome newbies this is as much for you as it is anyone else!

Body Type: Height and general look! Are they short and stubby, or maybe they're petite? Do they have daikon legs, or are they normal? A little on the chubby side, or maybe they're tall?
Style: Are they always in uniform, or do they have something they like wearing outside of class? Do they mix and match? How do they usually do their hair? Do they take care of themselves? Any piercings, tattoos, and so on?
Voice: What's their voice like? Do they speak quietly, or are they always at max volume? Any interesting tics or words they tend to repeat a lot?
Scent: What's their smell? Do they have any perfume, or is it just the soap and water they're given for the showers here? Did they regain anything they like to use? All that kind of thing! Or maybe they're in a club and don't mind smelling like sweat.
Demeanor: How do they carry themselves? Do they act like they're the main character every day of their life, or do they prefer if people just don't notice they're around at all? How would someone else describe your character's disposition at first meeting? How do they move—are they light on their feet, heavy walker, somewhere in-between?
Go-to Conversation: What topic or topics will your character bring up without fail, like how they play piano, or how they used to have a body before... The Incident?
Tallies: Do they hide them, or do they not care? How do they deal with them?

School Life
Dorming: Where do they sleep? In the dorms, in a classroom, what? Do they have any roommates? How do they dress up their personal space?
Class: What class are they in? And for faculty members, what subjects and years do they teach?
Clubs: Any clubs, official or unofficial? Associations and other extracurriculars, such as sports teams or the Student Council, can go here too! How often do they attend?
Studying: Digging into the nitty-gritty: how are they as a student and/or a teacher? Do they slack off in class, do the bare minimum to pass, or maybe they're just not even there most of the time? Are they an attentive teacher, or did they only take the job to get to places regular students can't?
After-School: Aside from clubs and the like, how do they spend their free-time? What's their weekend routine? Doing or solving murders aside, of course!

Age: 11 physically, but actually over a hundred years old
Canon: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

First Impressions
Body Type: She's 137cm (4'5") and very generally petite and slender. She does a lot of physical activities with her friends due to being in a games club, but she isn't like, extremely buff or anything like that.
Style: She wears mostly the school uniform, but can be seen wearing rather simple outfits. Given the colder weather, she can be seen in this outfit.
Voice: Very high pitched normally and childlike. She's voiced by Yukari Tamura and basically sounds like this; she usually refers to herself using the pronoun of ぼく (boku) which is known for being a bit more masculine and childish, uses a lot of onomatopoeia and typically ends her sentences with 'なのです' (nano desu).

However, when she sports on her more mature voice (which will always be noted in tags) her voice drops into something deeper and she switches her pronoun to 私 ('watashi') which is much more neutral and drops all of the childish mannerisms, as can be heard here. Spoilers for Higurashi in that clip, by the way.

Scent: Generally clean with no distinct scent.
Demeanor: She's pretty stand-out, given her size and height, but it honestly depends on how she's acting. When she's being more childish she tends to hold herself more loosely. Rika does a lot of onomatopoeia, which means that she has a tendency to make gestures (like cat paws if she goes 'nya' or clap her hands as she says 'clap, clap' etc). When she's acting more mature, she's much more shielded and guarded than usual.
Go-to Conversation: She doesn't really have anything that she'll like, explicitly bring up, but she's from 1983; meaning that Yogen is actually The Future for her and a lot of things that aren't from summer or things that she isn't familiar with are nice to bring up with her. Being stuck in a timeloop does that to a girl...
Tallies: She doesn't see any reason to hide them in particular; people will notice that she only has one tally. Which is hilariously ironic given that yes, she is from a canon that deals with death timeloops.

School Life
Dorming: ☆6 with Satou, Akira and Akechi
Class: 1-E
Clubs: None at the moment. She will start frequenting the games club, but won't be joining it, as it just isn't the same with the others from Hinamizawa.
Studying: Rika is canonically someone who doesn't like studying, but finds herself good at it if she puts her mind to it; even more so when she knows that she needs it to survive.
After-School: Given that Rika actually doesn't know what kind of person she wants to be, she's probably going to pick up more and more hobbies. She's been teaching Kaede how to cook and learning piano in return.
Mutuals: She does hang around Satou quite a bit and obviously see the above for others, but there isn't anyone she's particularly like, hanging out around often, she's all over the place lmao.
Anything Else: As per usual -- opt-out post as needed. Also she can be seen nowadays with a rather large sword around her at all times. She's protective of it as well, too.

Character Name: Himeko Inaba
Age: Technically 17 upon arrival, but she turned 18 in November, technically?
Canon: Kokoro Connect; she's from the end of the light novels, so if you'd like to avoid spoilers, let me know.

First Impressions
Body Type: Slender; she's described as having a model-type body in the novels. She's definitely a lot thinner than usual, however, but not so significant that it's... bad.
Style: She wears a lot of dark and neutral colors but tends to wear the school uniform with stuff bundled over it.
Voice: Inaba speaks rather casually, although she will speak much more formally when it benefits her. Her manner of speaking is noted to be much more masculine and rough. She's voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, and can be heard here. People will probably notice that she uses 'atashi' as her personal pronoun.
Scent: Clean, nothing specific to note.
Demeanor: Generally serious; she doesn't slouch and acts polite/semi-casual to those who don't know her very well.
Go-to Conversation: Computers and technology, analysis and just anything that deals with figuring things out of herself.
Tallies: She doesn't necessarily hide and is willing to show it to those who ask and she doesn't like, hate. Inaba has five tallies.

School Life
Dorming: She doesn't actually stay in the dorms at all
Class: 3-B
Clubs: She isn't in any club, but she can sometimes be found in the robotics and programming clubroom for her own selfish reasons.
Studying: Inaba is rather studious, but given that she has graduated when she is alive, a lot of the topics are rather easy for
After-School: Depends on the day, but she can generally be seen doing a various amount of things. She's trying to be rather self-reliant, so she's trying to self-teach herself how to cook and take care of herself more often.

Anything Else: She has a few habits to note: she chews on her lip or nail when nervous, and is always seen with her magatama pendant, which she, at times, clutches for reactions to certain things.

The Basics
Character Name: Subaru Akehoshi
Age: 18
Canon: Ensemble Stars!!

First Impressions
Body Type: Athletic! He's about average height (5'7"/8"ish for the curious) and build, but it's clear he does some level of sports though, uh, the basketball team isn't looking so great lately.
Style: He's usually found in different levels of casual when he's not in his school uniform, but even his school uniform's got a style to it: he likes to wear a pink hoodie with it especially in the cooler months now, unbuttoned and loose as can be. If there's something of note he's wearing I'll make mention of it, but generally speaking he is Just A Boy. His hair is carefully styled by which I mean he does a little running his hand through it to fluff it up the way his father used to wear it, and at the moment he has no other notable things like piercings but I am looking forward to changing that!!!
Voice: He's got a very excited, bright voice, done by Tetsuya Kakihara and by god youtube has nothing voice clip wise i'm so sorry please enjoy his solo song instead but he's honestly on the higher pitch side of boys, a tenor through 'n through, especially when he's excited. Subaru's always at full volume, and when he whispers it's normal volume. But he can really whisper too, it's just saved for special occasions. You've probably heard him versus ever seen him.

Additionally... He's someone who's been called "incomprehensible" by his friends thanks to his tendency to use onomatopoeia and jumping from point a to d in conversation. Sort of a whiny, childish guy at times, especially when he wants something.

Scent: I described it once as like, very... outdoor. The scent of "sunshine" that people think of on a clear day, that sort of nature-earthy type thing since he's often outside even in the winter. Whatever "clean" smell doesn't last long, and he has lingerings of Natsume's perfumes by being around him, but that's about it.
Demeanor: Subaru's very much the protagonist of his own life and he carries himself like it, full of confidence and ease, with loud laughter and a pep in his step... He's the kind of person you can hear coming down the hall somehow, and yet he's also light on his feet thanks to his training as an idol -- but only when he wants to be, and that's not often enough. When someone looks at him, there's no doubt that he knows exactly who he is, who he wants to be.
Go-to Conversation: Did you know? He likes stars! He's an idol! His dad's dead. He has a dog! Oh, Natsume~'s his best friend! He lives with him and Lena, and down the way's Maddy and Ama-chan and Boss -- he works at the School Store sometimes, see, mostly as advertisement, but he tries to make sure Boss doesn't work too hard with cleaning and stuff like that too, they're reaaaally into their work it's super cute. ♪ Anyway, what's their opinion on soups, sandwiches, and salads?
Tallies: He hides them. It's easy, in the winter time... and he's not too keen on changing around anyone anymore, either. Where he used to freely strip in excitement, he no longer does -- particularly after they returned to their present time, he's been very careful not to be any sorts of naked around his fellow dudes.

School Life
Dorming: He dorms with Helena Adams and Natsume Sakasaki in a four person room, but at the moment that empty bed either belongs to Miyuki Shirogane or is being used as extra storage space (pending murder verdict). Subaru's been collecting suncatchers for as long as the store's been open to selling them, so he's built up quite the number of them...! They hang from the skylight, the railings of his top bunk bed, and line the walls -- he's very much decorated his space with light and warmth. Additionally, he's got stars painted on the wall and ceiling closest to him, different constellations that glow in the dark.
Class: He's part of 3-B! Or was. Is.
Clubs: Officially part of the Astronomy Club and Survival Club... and Basketball Team... And Music Club. But honestly, a lot of these numbers have gone down, so it's most the first two and the latter two being "out of habit, Subaru goes to the Music Room to feel depressed looking at the piano; he goes to the Gym to bouncey ball away his feelings."
Studying: He doesn't study. Despite this, he has some of the higher grades in his year. This is based in canon. Subaru likes to sleep in class, but more than that he often forgets his books and has to buddy up with someone else. Chances are, if you're a friend, he's asked you to share your book.
After-School: Running! Playing at the courts! Hanging out with friends, sleeping under the wisteria tree (even in the snow), and... vibing. Subaru is really the type of person who decides what he'll be doing that day in the moment.
Mutuals: He's seen mostly hanging out around/off of Natsume Sakasaki and Rantarou Amami, though he enjoys the company of like, all his friends... which include like half the school. Somehow, Subaru seems to even like Nagito Komaeda's companionship, and can be found following the guy around from time to time; when he isn't bothering his usual group (this is including Sara Chidouin, ~~Shin Tsukimi~~ Sou Hiyori, Nene Yashiro, and Noah Ebalon) he can be found in the school store with Keigo and the library. Those with spirit sight can know he's friends with Haruka, and is fond of talking to her shrine.

Canon: Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

First Impressions
Body Type: Average height (5'9") with strong shoulders, she's got nice legs and a noticeable bust despite a certain classmate back in the academy saying otherwise. Her hands are notable in that they're slender and slightly calloused.
Style: Generally wears the uniform, it's comfy and fits well, but Kaede got some clothes from Amami during Christmas that she loves a lot so she usually rocks those on her days off... Shoulderless outfits are the best when you've got no plans of going out in the cold, but at least she's got a jacket for when she does! Kaede wears her school uniform properly, and when doing so you're able to see the cat necklace she got from Komaeda best on the black fabric. She also has a lovely treble clef ring on her left hand, as well as a cute music score bracelet on her right.
Voice: She's voiced by Sayaka Kanada (who's also voiced Junko) in Japanese, and Erika Harlacher (who voiced Ann from P5), but both have a clear tone. Kaede speaks at a normal volume, and is characteristically open and honest with how she feels; she really cannot hide her nervousness or irritation, and it shows easily with her tone. Kaede tends to replace certain phrasing with composers instead, like saying "Oh my Chopin!" and "For Brahm's sake!"
Scent: Clean! That's all, she's a simple girl.
Demeanor: A confident girl who seems, despite her composure, a little bit lonely from a distance. Easy to mistake, just a trick of the light, how can someone as friendly as her ever be lonely? Not a chance. She steps with a surefooted evenness, not too loud nor too soft thanks to her concert experience.
Go-to Conversation: She plays piano. If Amami, a classmate from the academy, doesn't tell you, she'll beat him to the punch. Currently, she's trying to expand her horizons!
Tallies: Kaede wouldn't mind showing them off, since they're few, but with the weather as it is... they're generally covered. Try again in spring.

School Life
Dorming: Kaede lives in the dorms with Sara Chidouin at the moment! Her room is still sparse, honestly, but maybe she'll work on that in February since she's got a firm roomie now...
Class: At the moment, she's part of 3-A.
Clubs: No clubs! Not officially, since she's feel at odds with joining the Music Club now that they've lost a pianist; such things are irreplaceable in her mind. Though she's interested in tennis.
Studying: Kaede... apparently was good at studying when she started this year. She lapsed. She's catching up. She pays attention in class and tries her best to take notes but you're more likely to find her trying not to feel like a bother when asking someone else for tutoring, or sliding a joking-but-not-really-joking comment about haha, the homework sure has gotten tougher!!! She couldn't even finish some of these questions, maybe they can look over it together? Please help her.
After-School: When she's not trying to solve murders or playing piano, Kaede's been enjoying the snow... at least watching it, since she's still a little hesitant to freeze her fingers off. She's been learning some basics of cooking with Rika too.
Mutuals: Rantarou Amami is her go-to boy, she is often seen hanging with him... by extension this means she hangs with Keigo too at times. Sara Chidouin is another whom she seems to be close to, thanks to their status as roomies, though Kaede seems like she'll be enjoying Shin Tsukimi's company too this month.

Canon: Kaguya-sama: Love is War or Kaguya-sama Wants to be Confessed to (specifically anime)

First Impressions
Body Type: Slim and lanky. Nothing that constitutes muscle or anything. He's around 5'5' or 5'7.
Style: Shirogane's literally always in his uniform (except when he's washing it). His hair is blond and has that little swirl because he doesn't sleep well. You don't want him to dress "normally" outside of his uniform, because he has the fashion sense of a middle schooler. No, really. He takes care of himself to the point that he looks presentable, but also dear god don't let him dress himself.
Voice: He speaks with a formal tone, not really trying to be fairly loud but keep an air of authority on him. Just for reference, he's voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese, and in English he's voiced by Aaron Dismuke.
Scent: Just the soap and showers.
Demeanor: Shirogane works way too hard to maintain his serious demeanor, and wants to be seen as a reliable and cool figure to the student body. His eyes are always sharp with bags underneath them, generally from sleep deprivation. He may appear to be haughty, but it's all about becoming the person he thinks his crush wants him to be. Instead of a fucking nerd look at this idiot
Go-to Conversation: Home, mostly. Rather, how things were done at Shuchiin, if only because that's his metric for what a successful school looks like and of course, where he's been as a student council president. Otherwise, it's pretty much school.
Tallies: He absolutely hides them and tries to not think about them. Long sleeves, hoo.

School Life
Dorming: He's been sleeping in the common room lately. He doesn't want to impose on anyone in the dorms, and the one invitation he got was rescinded because he has preconceptions about MURDER.
Class: Third year. He would've been in 3-A prior to the culling.
Clubs: He's in no clubs, but he's a member of the student council.
Studying: This fucker works harder than he needs to. He routinely shows up to class, does his classwork, and pays attention pretty well. Look, he's hoping Shinomiya never shows up here, but he's not going to be caught unawares and look like he's not been studying.
After-School: Homework, writing details about the day down, trying his hardest to write a letter that he's never going to send. That or he's in the library. Honestly he's never had this much free time, but... bleh.
Mutuals: Honestly, he doesn't really hang around anyone too much. It's not anything against anyone, he just isn't super comfortable with this place!

Anything Else: He makes the most out of what little he has. He's used to not having any money, and as a result, look at this practical bag!

Character Name: Baby Bonnie Hood
Age: Unknown. Speculated to be between the ages of 10 and 14.
Canon: Darkstalkers (Specifically Darkstalkers 3, otherwise known as Vampire Savior)

First Impressions
Body Type: Bonnie's friggin tiny! She's 142 cm, and is a child. Kinda looks like a twig, but will not hesitate to flip you over her tiny little head.
Style: While she typically wears the uniform, she absolutely can't stand the jacket, so that's left behind in her locker. Bonnie takes good care of herself, and her hair's always nicely taken care of and combed. She keeps herself looking every bit as cute as she feels she is! Still, she never felt quite comfortable up until recently, when she got her hood and cape back! So yes, she's feeling a lot better! The ensemble doesn't work too well, but it'll do.
Voice: Oh so sweet. B.B.'s literally never had an English voice (all of her speaking roles have been done by Miyuki Matsushita), but I like to headcanon her as having a very polite, very sickly sweet voice with a vaguely European accent. That's her typical voice anyway. When she's pissed off or talking business, her voice is a bit gruffer and her speech patterns are a lot more terse and vulgar. Surprisingly rare!
Scent: Like a spring breeze! She uses the soaps, and makes sure to wash behind the ears and everything!
Demeanor: A happy go lucky little girl, cheerful and innocent as all get out. Bonnie absolutely moves with a spring in her step, skipping quite a lot with a hum. She makes sure that she brightens up everyone's day! Those who may be a bit more perceptive may be able to see something terrifying in her gaze, or her smile.
Go-to Conversation: Her grandmother! A lot of things she attirbutes to her grandma's lessons, and how much she loves her! She may also tell stories that she's heard of the "Dark Ones" that terrorized the place she came from, from the eyes of a Dark Hunter that she. Doesn't imply is actually her.
Tallies: Nobody's given her a reason to care, so she doesn't. If someone asks, then they ask!

School Life
Dorming: She's on her own! She's found a nice little area in her classroom to hole up in, conking out whenever she must. I've thought about this approximately zero minutes, can you tell
Class: First year! She was previously in Class 1-E.
Clubs: None! She's working on an unofficial club (that's really only just her.)
Studying: She does the bare minimum, for the most part. She acts attentive, constantly jotting down notes, but they're mostly about the other students and goings on at the school. There's also little doodles in the margins.
After-School: After school, she wanders the halls a bit to see what everyone else is up to, and occasionally takes a moment to practice her aim in her classroom with a target sheet she made and rubberbands. Boy does she miss having a gun.
Mutuals: None! It'd be suspicious if she hung around anyone too much, so she spends most of her time just flitting about and being everyone's friend! Even if the other students may see her as annoying, or may be lowkey afraid of her. S'all good.

First Impressions
Body Type: lithe and somewhat on the petite side; if he was a little shorter he could probably be mistaken for a girl. the kind of person who's really easy to pick up if he didn't try to scratch your eyes out in the process. like a cat
Style: school uniform with some modifications to it, like wearing a sweater under it because he's the type of person who gets cold easily. outside of that, he mix and matches various outfits he's got back from home... he particularly likes this jacket actually. in general though, he prefers darker colors and long sleeves for casual wear. he also has his ears pierced! and he will pierce yours, for a price :) his piercings change daily between some he has from home and some he received as christmas gifts, but they always match.
Voice: a gentle voice that catches on the ear; it lowers to a creepier note when he's "casting a spell" though, so watch it. he's voiced by kenji nojima, and you can find a nice little collection of natsume quotes here, thank you to past me always. he also has a vocal tic where he'll emphasis a part of a word—this is indicated by me capitalizing some syllaBLES. he's not shouting don't worry, it's just a hard emphasis to draw attention to things.
Scent: natsume smells different every day, though since about mid-january there's always been a trend of them having some hint of lavender in them. that's because he makes his own perfumes and he doesn't like repeating scents. he can also make you perfume... for a price :) otherwise he keeps himself clean and neat, he's a very meticulous and appearance-conscious young man.
Demeanor: stand-offish and shady. he just appears out of nowhere sometimes and disappears just as quick. actually, he's been compared to a cat a lot in canon—independent and confident and will only deal with you if he feels like it. he's quick to panic when he gets emotional though, so if you ever catch him at a bad time, well. there we are.
Go-to Conversation: fortune-telling....... he will never Not mention he reads fortunes. i feel like i have to put maya here too because he used to bring her up a lot (little wolf), but he probably doesn't as much nowadays, or he stops himself from mentioning her. but it's mostly fortune-telling. please anyone pre-january don't point out he talked about her a lot because then it becomes really obvious he had a thing for her and he wants to die thanks. he also probably mentions he does magic a fair amount, because he loves the fact he can do magic
Tallies: it's a mixed bag. he used to be pretty big on hiding them, and he incidentally hides them because he's a fan of long sleeves, but recently he hasn't really cared—so i'll mention he has 15 total tallies and we're all just going to have to deal with that!

School Life
Dorming: he's rooming with subaru akehoshi and helena adams in star 1, and the fourth bed either belongs to miyuki shirogane if he survives and also didn't kill either of the twins and also helena doesn't react badly to him because the second she's like "okay i'm gonna live with rantarou for a little while" shirogane-kun is getting kicked OUT—, or is a storage space for whatever stuff they want to put on it. natsume's a private person, so he's taken the bottom bunk in his and subaru's set up because 1. he's going blind so he doesn't want to chance the ladder when that happens and 2. he can put up a curtain, which he's done. in general, like subaru, he has some star motifs around his space, and despite how meticulous he is about his physical appearance his personal space tends to be a little messier, particularly if he's really into something and he's not paying attention to it. it'll never be as bad as Some people though, so he considers himself relatively tidy.
Class: he's a second year! he was in npcless 2-d for a long while until we all got shoved together, and now he's just in npcless second year. looks up, he's not allowed to have friends his own grade, i understand.
Clubs: natsume is... president of the astronomy club since subaru tossed that on him, vice president of the gardening club, and attends the gaming club and robotics club every so often because he's interested in those types of things. he's also technically sometimes at the unofficial occult club, but that's usually if he has to ask clamor something rather than joining in; he still feels like he's probably not allowed to actually be around despite june being more than half a year gone
Studying: he doesn't need to study so he doesn't study. if he says he's studying, he's lying so that you will leave him alone. thank you. despite that, his grades are extremely good—it's probably frustrating because he doesn't even attend class half the time either. that's reading ahead so you can spend less time learning the material slowly though! if anyone needs tutoring, he can do it... for a price :)
After-School: he offers fortunetelling both before school and after using cards (now featuring both the nice cards nene got him for christmas and his tarot that he found from home)! he'll attend to garden club duties as well, and when he's not doing any of that, he's practicing magic until nightfall, where he'll either spend time with haruka (the library ghost, for those with spirit sight) or host astronomy club meetings with warm food and drink on the rooftop.
Mutuals: subaru akehoshi is a constant fixture in his life like the north star he is NOT named after, so unfortunately if you know one you know the other. this goes for nagito komaeda too, his detested loss for words. he also chats with a few npcs when he sees them, so if anyone needs an in to that, let him know and he'll introduce you two—most notable are nao sato, akira fujioka, and for those who can see spirits haruka and kazuki. there used to be more but haha. he's also friendly with a handful of pcs and makes it his business to at least know people the bare minimum, so you can go ahead and assume they're at least introduced and have had a few light conversations c:
