The Common Knowledge Meme

Maybe you're classmates. Maybe you hang around the same stairwell. Maybe, realistically, your characters should be doing battle over the dormitory's only kitchen for dinner rights—but since it isn't possible to thread everything out with everyone all the time, let's make things easier!

Protocol:
1. Post with your character(s) and list things that could be considered "common knowledge" around the school, including anything you think people might know or notice even if your characters haven't ever met or spoken directly. Yogen's a pretty big school, after all. Feel free to make categories if you feel like it'll help!

Fun ideas to include...
An average day or week for your character.
Things people might notice right away by looking at them (how they dress, notable scars, etc).
Behaviors people might notice by seeing them often.
Places they can usually be found and what they do there.
Small facts that might come up in conversation about your character.
Little things your character does for other students (who else here is making lunches for their NPC friends).

2. Then go reply to other people with relevant common knowledge/headcanon between your characters!

Fun ideas to consider...
How your characters might know one another (same classes, same floor, similar interests, nine degrees of separation).
Anything specific they might have noticed about them recently (like changes in activity).
How often they see each other or spend time with/around each other.
Recent developments they might be aware of that've likely been handwaved.
Who they might be familiar with by proxy (for people who might complain talk about their roommates, classmates, other students in general, etc).

3. Use this opportunity to handwave some CR or plot things! Got something you think your character's CR should know but haven't had a chance for it to come up? Is there someone your character sees often enough or hears about often enough that there's some basis for CR but you just haven't had the chance to talk about it? Now's your chance.

Most of all, have fun and don't stress!

IMPRESSIONS

◈ Real name is Edward Grenore, this is the name on his class roster and that most of the teachers use for him but if you call him Edward or Grenore or any variant thereof, he will glare and yell at you for it.
◈ Looks to be around the age of 12 (claims to be 21), and stands at 147cm/4'10" (claims to be 180cm/5'11", somehow). He's notably very light for his size.
◈ Very, very pale lavender hair, which just looks white unless you're squinting really hard at it.
◈ Eyes are bright magenta with a pupil shaped like a power symbol and clearly unnatural. Sometimes you might catch sight of little electric wisps and sparks that fly off them when he gets excited. The left eye's schlera is solid black at all times, and he can shift the right eye to do the same at will (very cool party trick).
◈ Purple lightningbolt-ish tattoo over his left eye... is actually just a tattoo, surprisingly. The top part is usually covered by his hair but looks like this.
◈ Always wears a hoodie or jacket, always has his body fully covered up by clothing... the only skin he shows is his face. Yes, he'll wear gloves even with his school uniform. His neck is also always covered by a choker of some sort.
◈ Does not like to be touched. Ever. Especially on the left shoulder.
◈ Talks to himself a lot. Loudly. Also that dumb kukuku laugh.
◈ If you have a robot, are a robot, or say anything about robots within range of him, he WILL harass you with questions.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

◈ Only attends class when he feels like it, rarely seems to be paying attention and instead spends his time writing notes on other things in his notebooks. Somehow still passes with good grades.
◈ Spends most of his time in the workshop, working on Ball Monokuma and other robotics experiments.
◈ Every time he passes by the science lab, he'll stop to glare at the anatomy model in the window. Sometimes he yells at it. If you're brave enough to ask, he will readily explain(?) that it "won't stop laughing at him" and then go on a rant about how he should be allowed in there, what's so funny you stupid skeleton we'll see who's laughing once he's go his hands on your scrawny neck you piece of shit
◈ If he sees one of the cats he WILL drop everything he's doing to try and pet them... unfortunately, he is not very good with animals. He's figured out how to correctly appease Lily May with food, the black cat is still a lost cause to him. He's trying his best.
◈ Drops by class 3-E at least once a day to check on his flowers, which he tends to with a surprising amount of care and diligence.
◈ People watching. Sometimes he'll just hang out in the crawlspaces or climb up in a tree somewhere to stare at people and eavesdrop. Thinks he's much better at being stealthy than he actually is.
◈ Does not have a dorm room. Doesn't appear to sleep regular hours, either, and just kinda passes out every few days in a random spot, except he's such a light sleeper that it's hard to really be sure...

PLACES

◈ Most commonly found at: the workshop, lurking outside the science lab, classroom 2-A, sometimes hangs out in the crawlspaces, sometimes in the library.
◈ VERY frequent trips to the voidschool. Sometimes he'll just cut his hand open in a hallway without any care for who else might be around to get yanked in with him, sorry not sorry. He likes to check up on it and see how it changes over time, and also he just finds it cozy there.
◈ Occasionally found at: classroom 3-E aka gardening club, the sewing room, but he doesn't like to go to either of these places if there are other people around so he generally only drops in at weird hours.
◈ Usually avoids: the pool, the courts, the track... basically anything associated with athletic activities. He'll only visit if it's to do science on something.

RECENT EVENTS

◈ Had a very... eventful presentation for Robotics & Programming club. Some students now live in fear of the murderous bear-shaped trash robot that rests peacefully(?) in the workshop.
◈ Destroyed the science club and severely traumatized a girl for the crime of... being in science club, and not inviting him. Komaeda and Dito helped. But it's fine, because they hired a demon to suppress her memories and these actions will never have consequences.
◈ Currently "laying low" and "on his best behaviour", because Lucifer may or may not be blackmailing him with the whole brutally-tortured-a-girl-for-science-and-then-sealed-her-memories-to-avoid-consequences thing... but if anyone asks, he will proudly boast about how science club had it coming and deserved to be shut down for not allowing any SERIOUS scientists into the club.
◈ Recently acquired a hovering drone and a robot claw arm. The drone can commonly be seen hovering around next to him, and he talks to it like it's alive (its name is Dynamo). The claw........ is being worked on in robotics club, but he can also be found sleeping with it clutched lovingly in his arms sometimes.
◈ Hasn't moved into the dorms (too many mandatory roommates, blech) but he does drop in sometimes to sleep on the common room couch or break into people's rooms or just steal random shit.

RELATIONSHIPS

◈ Komaeda - friends(???), still acts bitchy around him but you can kinda tell that he's not seriously annoyed since he'll actively go out of his way to hang out with Komaeda anyway, even when he's being "annoying". Sometimes he'll track him down just to hold his hand......... and then attempt to detach the mechanical arm, and then just walk away with it like that's normal.
◈ Senku - science buddies!! Senku is one of the few people Add never seems to bitch at or argue with, though he's always happy to engage in some intellectual debate. He also actually listens to Senku so if you're ever having trouble with Add, you should probably go to Senku for help.
◈ Dito - Add thinks he's gross, but also kind of endearingly murderous. Not quite friends, but he respects the little psycho and is willing to work with him if it's mutually beneficial.
◈ Noah - boy who makes cats with magic. Also from the same world as Add, has some time-related abilities, and might be looking to meet up with some former friends of his... not a "friend" but Add acknowledges that Noah is interesting and worth keeping tabs on.
◈ Helena - stroked his ego once and has a friend who's an inventor. On his good side.
◈ Nene - "friend"(??????), runs the gardening club, if asked he will refuse to acknowledge her as anything but the club leader of a dumb club he didn't even sign up for but he's never mean to her and tends to cave to her when she tells him to knock it off or asks him for favours. She made him a blanket and he keeps it very neatly folded in his locker; on very, very rare occasions, he will take it out and sleep with it somewhere hidden (crawlspaces, under desks, other weird indoor places) because he doesn't want to admit he likes it.
◈ Stephanie - obnoxious dumb child that he wants to beat up once he gets his powers back, just to show her how much better he is than her, except Lucifer forbade him from doing that so now he just glares at her and makes rude gestures.
◈ Lucifer - demon acquaintance, Add just thinks he's useful and reasonably intelligent and thus is happy to work with him when it comes to things like void research. Currently in debt to Lucifer due to the whole science club torture thing... he only agreed to leave his list of Import People alone and claims to owe no further favours to him, but Add
◈ Tali - classmate? She has a cool suit and knows about cool tech stuff, so automatically on his good side.
◈ Minato - guy who may or may not be a fake clone/mole from the elevator world. On Add's good side, apparently, because being a potential threat and possibly not even a real person makes him more "interesting" and thus worthy of attention.
◈ Crona - annoying, whiny brat that is only better than Stephanie because they also have weird powers and aren't afraid to beat people up or eat(????) them. y'know, positive traits. Flipflops between being on Add's good side and actively annoying him, depends on his mood and the context really.
◈ Joshua - Komaeda's boyfriend(?), runs the ethics club. Has an obnoxious personality that Add instantly dislikes, but he'll tolerate him only because Komaeda likes him and he hasn't technically done anything annoying yet, besides exist without permission.
◈ Rika - has a cool sword, kind of obnoxious but tolerable. He can respect her drive.
◈ Sara - talked about girls robots with him........ good side.

RUMOURS

◈ Supposedly Komaeda's long lost brother.
◈ Sometimes, if you can catch him changing or taking off his jacket, you might catch some glittering white/pink dust(?) that floats up from where his left shoulder is... but maybe you just imagined it.
◈ No one has ever seen him eat a vegetable. He seems to only survive on vending machine snacks and whatever homemade desserts he can steal out of home ec wing, but that can't be right, can it??
◈ No one has ever seen him use the bathroom, either..........
◈ Some students are absolutely convinced he's a robot. Like, why else would he praise robots like that all the time? And the weird eyes? And how he never pays attention in class but absorbs information like a sponge? And all that other weird shit???
◈ Everyone probably knows about the "yells at the anatomy model in the science lab" thing and thinks he's fucking insane for it, what a weirdo.
◈ If he's not a robot, he's definitely some kind of demon or vampire or something else evil. There might be some kind of betting ring in his class over what he actually is.
