I'm crying yet another instance of Shin appearing to be more of a schemer than he really is... that's a bit uncharitable though, the three of them do make a good team. I have the headcanon that in the game Shin had the idea that he, Alice and Kanna should trade tokens in a circle so that they'd end up technically having traded while still keeping all of theirs and that's why they placed high and it's my favourite thing.
It was... debateably better than the Disney horrors but it's fine, he's fine (he's not fine)
Yeah it kills me.... Shin not being dead inside and thereby Midori showing up doing even more of a number on him is like oooooof this poor lad. very glad alice is in his corner love that they both are worrying about midori getting to their siblings
ON EDGE AROUND HIM FOR SOME REASON yeah shin's definitely going to be
about that... there was a whole thing... kills me that they really were getting along for months. That might be the thing that reveals the timeline difference; it'll be interesting to see what Shin feels about Alice apparently coming from the 'other' timeline. He still has no one who can tell him if Kanna is okay : ( Apart from Midori but he doesn't trust like that.
Shin'll keep all of his feelings right here and then one day he'll die.

That tokens trade headcanon I WILL BELIEVE THAT IT'S REAL, it fits perfectly. Ty Shin's hacker brain (which absolutely deserves enrichment and not starving to death...)
I'll definitely be on the lookout for opportunities for Topics to come up. It does kill me that no one besides Midori witnessed Kanna thriving. It also kills me to imagine the basement filled with things that Shin doesn't want to face sdljkdjh

IT'S SO AWKWARD, i love it so much. 'don't hate her okay?' 'right...' 'right...' honestly there's a lot of sad never to be friendships in yttd concerning shin, which is kind of the point, but i think about how much lines up for him to not get along with reko, from her initial protective sympathy (which makes him feel pitied) to her completely valid ire at his bullshit... and the deleted scene is fascinating in this context... alice explaining that she cares about the weak now and that 'weak people huh' in red text kills me...
yeah it's very fun seeing those left over aspects... all that talking with keiji. I'm crying i looked up the movie thing and it's after the shift but Alice saying Keiji should go to the movie with Shin and Kanna does delight me
his hacker brainnnn we rag on his plans a lot of the time but he really does shine when it comes to game mechanics and memory/logic puzzles... it's where people get involved that's the problem
crying he does get some enrichment from Komaeda dragging him to Puzzle Time on the regular... as well as teaching bc of that whole having to break something down for someone else aiding understanding thing
