chinana!!!! he likes her a lot, she's fun and easy to talk to and she plays along with him and noah's wolf rp... she seems like the type of girl who might not mind him draping himself on her, and hugging her and the like, so he's definitely been greeting her like that in a 50/50 shot that it's not chinananee, though he'll definitely hug her too lmao. honestly once he learned she was into games he liked to talk to her about the more retro ones his friend introduced to him -- new games are nice and all, subaru would always say, but the old ones are colorful in a way that's super unique

you know like how they had the pixel explosions for galaga and stuff like that he loves those things

they can probably get boss, the shopkeep, to hook them up with some consoles and stuff like that if she wants to bunker down and find a way to play it on the roll-in tvs they have he'd love that with her

The funny thing is, since leaving Hope's Peak, Nanami's relationship with touch is... complicated. So Subaru surprising her by hugging her from behind definitely made her jump the first couple of times and flinch for a bit after that.

But it's also something she missed - not that she hugged her classmates a lot, but hugs did happen. So this is kind of getting her used to it again, which is something that is nice even though she wouldn't be able to articulate that particularly well.

Subaru has this spirit of... playfulness and joy to him, that's just like cool water on Nanami's wounds. It's not just that dissociating into play is something she leans into readily - Subaru is also kind and empathetic. He brings a smile to Nanami's face. She loves goofing off with him and will take him up on it every time.

She's dragged him to game club multiple times at this point (probably, to be honest, he's dragged her there as well), and their gaming sessions are completely adorable. If what you're talking about is getting the consoles into the dorm side of school, that sounds adorable.
