CHIAKI NANAMI... We've discussed Alice's thoughts so far a little, so yes! Nanami absolutely reminds Alice of people like Kanna and Nao, who are gentle and kindhearted, but shouldn't be dismissed as weak because of that, since experience suggests that their hearts are stronger than one might expect, and they're even there for others. It already counts for something that Nanami wasn't scared to talk to him, much like Kanna and Nao approached him. Depending on how their first meeting thread turns out, he could end up feeling less like he made a mess of it, though he feels bad for unintentionally causing Nanami to relive upsetting memories.

At the moment, he hopes that she's been getting more sleep, preferably without nightmares, but that seems difficult, given everything. It's likely that she's also someone that he'll feel concern for, and regard from a big brother perspective, especially now that Midori is no longer just a painting on the wall, considering that she shares a dorm room with Shin, so he wonders whether that alone makes her a possible target for mind games. That said, he's sure that Shin has warned her thoroughly.

It's nice that Nanami seems to have a twin sister?! Hopefully they get along well... They both contributed impressively during the murder meeting discussions.

I'm so glad that Alice fell into my cunningly laid trap - I'd hoped he would trigger her somehow, since he was looking for somebody to pull out of despair! And she's DEFINITELY experiencing a lot of it in her first days of arrival, although it's... I don't wanna say lessened. Morphed? By the end of February.

ALICE is a big ol sweetheart though. We've only had the one thread so far, but she definitely sees him as a kind person with a big heart. She also knows, by process of deduction, that she's from the same world as her roommate - not that she knows what went down there. I'd imagine she seeks him out from time to time and they check in on each other - she'll want to repay him the kindness he gave her someday, if she can.

It worked very well! HE WALKED RIGHT INTO IT, UNSUSPECTING... I'm all for the mutual checking in, and Alice will keep that up particularly after Midori's arrival.
