amami's first impression is that he's a really earnest guy. he seems to really put his best foot forward and make an honest attempt with things he does, even if they're the type of things that others might brush of as not being very important comparatively. but, you know, he's got a lot of respect for the people who do value those things! actually, in some ways it kind of reminds him of ishimaru, so it's cute. he likes ishimaru. he likes alice. he'd offer up that if alice ever needed a hand, he could come find him, and try to be a reliable option for him while he gets his bearings.
kobato, in contrast, thinks alice is about the yogen equivalent of slow-ta. maybe not as much of a stickler for rules, but like, again... he just seems to buy into things way too wholeheartedly. why did he even agree to go dig in the blood realm anyway!? hard to hold something against a guy like that though, and he did speak back to his... fairy godmother of hope... when komaeda summoned his minion to stab him. there's potential here, and alice could be someone kobato finds easy to talk to if the opportunities come up. for now though he's being lumped in with komaeda as it being "his fault" that they're in the pool situation help.
