First impressions Chiaki thinks Amami is funny in like... how a dog is always happy to see you and will come running up to you and decide you're friends now even if you're a stranger and it doesn't make sense sense but if she thinks of him as a newfoundland puppy or something. She does appreciate the fact that he takes her up on the whole "come to me if you need advice!" thing though bc most people would just go "okay thanks" and never seek out help

Nao is so AAAAAAAAAA about people in general but once Kobato let the cheerful act drop she tolerates him more. Since she used to hang out primarily with Maya and Hiro, quiet and serious people are who she's used to and anybody coming up to her with kirakira sparkles is immediately Suspicious. Doesn't help the fact that she used to have cr with Ouma who was overly cheerful in a bratty way instead of a flirty way but that just tightened her internal alarm bells when a person is being too much. She did feel guilty after Kobato explained himself and suggested doing something else but she's still wary bc this place breeds trust issues
