THE CAT TAIL, I can't get over Komaeda's dedication to the Alice in Yogenland themes lmao, truly the best fairy godmother... Tbh even if Alice complains about whatever, he likes the feeling of someone depending on him for something, and sometimes the way Komaeda acts is almost what he imagines it would be like to have a younger brother. EVEN THOUGH KOMAEDA IS AN ADULT... and it's not like interacting with someone like Gin, either. So I think while there's always this sense of not knowing what to make of Komaeda (and Alice pretending that he's beyond any attachments nowadays), Alice has come to accept his presence to the point that he doesn't want to be wrong about speaking up on his behalf etc.

The petty anger also makes perfect sense; it absolutely fits that the murder incident was like an insult because it was accidental, taking control away from Midori by chance, and it was someone like Alice smh.
