The character is Shuichi Saihara from Danganronpa V3, and he's a competent detective who doesn't believe he's competent and spends his entire life in a constant state of existential crisis. Given the nature of the game, feel free to use him for all your clue, puzzle or investigation needs as required, I'm willingly offering him up for that since... you know, it's his job. He's also unfortunately easy to bully into doing things. Outside of that, he'll probably be looking for more outspoken or extroverted people to kind of hide behind because it's sort of what he does, and he'll be looking to investigate on his own a lot too. He's smart and will probably have a lot of common-sense solutions or thoughts about things (me groaning internally because I'm gonna have to do SO much OOC work to keep on top of info for the sake of staying IC). But on the other hand, he's always insecure and worried and may need a lot of encouragement or supportive pushes from other characters.
I came in a bit short-notice because of friends roping me into apping so I haven't had time to do a lot in-between app writing, but now that that's done with, I'm looking to tag out a bit. I might hit up whoever's still on the TDM (let me know if you want a tag tbh!!) but if not I might wait until the game start log soon. I look forward to being in Yogen, it looks super interesting and everyone seems fun!

I'm honestly newer to DR in general than most people still playing from it so I haven't had the chance to explore a lot of things... cross-game CR is one of them so I'm super excited about that. Tbh maybe it can go both ways, Saihara might be able to help Ishimaru mellow out occasionally too... I'm looking forward to how they'll interact!
all the dangans make my heart so happy but I just wanted to say that Shuichi is my favorite dangan protag so I'm really glad you're here!! he makes me hopeful the characters here will be able to solve things and move forward instead of just being "oh okay this is just how things are"

i love the idea of the dr protags together in a game sooooo much, it's been kind of one of my dream situations from day one of picking him up so that's you and me both!! it's why i attacked you on the tdm even though i told myself not to tag bc i was trying to prioritize my app... i just saw another protag and zoomed immediately. i hope the hinata does app as well so we can be a cool trio as depicted above! 👍

it's a pretty old series, although i do play from the LN which goes into stuff the anime doesn't cover, so learning new things is gonna happen regardless. and yes, she's willing to help investigate and also share info! 💪
N'yello! I'm playing Ritsuka Fujimaru, who has had, as one might say, a time similar to Shuichi if on. A much greater magnitude. (Gacha game protag woes.) She's practically an expert at being an extroverted shield for people like Shuichi now, and hey, they can bond in the over-twenty-tally-marks-this-is-probably-fine club.

Hey there! I actually play FGO myself (though not with any regularity) so I'm familiar with Ritsuka and you're right, they have quite a bit in common as protags and in... the general direction of their narratives. This is especially true at the canon point I'm taking Shuichi from because (spoilers) as far as he's aware, the outside world was destroyed, so they can sure bond over that.
